King Le Temple

Another Ninh Binh temple in your trip to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital is King Le Temple, located near the Temple of Kinh Dinh. This temple is often considered as a miniature of King Dinh Temple, but it still holds a lot to see.

King Le temple is dedicated to King Le Dai Hanh, one of the greatest kings of Vietnam. The temple is divided into three parts: the front shrine, Thien Huong house and the sanctum worshipping Le King.

King Le Dai Hanh was a general under the Dinh Dynasty. He was literally the one who pacified and unified the country. When the latest King Dinh passed away, he became the next king and was the first king of the Tien Le Dynasty.

The temple is quite small in size and simple in decoration, but it is still very charming. In the sanctum of the temple, you can find the three statues of the  Emperor Le Dai Hanh, Queen Duong Van Nga, and King Le Long Dinh. They were made a long time ago, but generally, they remained intact and are well preserved.
